Semester 2 2017

This edition spans the full range of school aged students, from pre-school to the HSC, with Stacey Fox’s argument for two years of pre-school education through to a special focus on teaching Kindergarten, and two guides to support planning for the new Stage 6 English and Science syllabuses. Approaches and resources to inform and support teachers to begin with Aboriginal Education, as well as strategies for introducing Environmental Education into every classroom are also featured. Denis Fitzgerald outlines a new plan for the future of school assessment from Kindergarten to Year 12 and Tom Alegounarias makes the case for Professional Teaching Standards and supporting teachers through to the higher levels of accreditation.
